"Respect for the land prevails at Maori Point Vineyards, an ecosystem of native flowers, bees, produce, and wild yeasts. The results here are exciting: unfiltered Pinot Noir, bonedry Pinot Gris, and the “Gold Digger” sparkling wine that you pop from a beer bottle." --Sunset Magazine, October 2016
Visit us to taste wine with the person who actually tends the grapevines or makes the wine. Stroll among our vines, or take a walk or picnic down to the Clutha River (bring a fishing rod - the trout are biting!). We are located between Cromwell and Wanaka, near the small town of Tarras - see map below.
We are open 11am to 5pm every day October thru March (except during Christmas-New Years, see below). Because we are a small family-owned business, occasionally we have to put up the closed sign, so please email or call in advance if you can. During April through mid June we are harvesting and making wine, but you can email or call to book a visit. During winter (late June through September) we are open Thu, Fri, Sat, Sun, or contact us. Group and special tastings can be arranged – again, just contact us!
