Maori Point Wines
Candlelight & Strings - Bach & Baroque (25 July)
Join us in the barrel hall at Māori Point for an evening of candlelight, classical music, and winter warmth.
Violinist and violist Cameron Stanley, of the Dunedin Symphony Orchestra returns to Māori Point this winter with two entirely new programmes for our Candlelight & Strings series. The first programme explores the music of Bach and other baroque composers through an intimate solo performance in the unique setting of our barrel hall.
Cameron will also share stories and reflections about the pieces, his instruments, and his craft, creating a rich and engaging experience. He returns on 19 September with a second programme, Vivaldi & The Four Seasons.
Set against the stillness of a winter night, this is an opportunity to slow down, listen, and savour both beautiful music and the atmosphere of the barrel hall. Your ticket includes elegant canapés served throughout the evening. Our wines will be available for purchase by the glass.
Formal attire is encouraged (but not required) - it’s a rare excuse, in the middle of winter, to pull out something special: a velvet jacket, a cocktail dress, a kilt - whatever lifts your spirits.
